NSUI urges Karnataka Governor to postpone KCET

Members of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) Karnataka held a protest outside Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru urging Governor Vajubhai Vala to direct the government to postpone Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) scheduled to be held on July 30, 31.

“The government’s decision to conduct the entrance exam despite widespread protests and knowing that the students’ lives are at danger due to the ongoing pandemic situation is condemned. This will lead to the students and their families experiencing greater anxiety and trauma in these times,” Manjunatha KS, State NSUI president said.
