  • Indian Institutes of Management will conduct CAT Exam 2020 tomorrow on November 29, 2020. The examination would be conducted across the country at various locations in three sessions- forenoon, afternoon, and evening.
  • This year 2.27 lakh candidates will be appearing for the exam in 159 cities across India for admission to the MBA program at IIMs.

    The examination would be conducted at 430 exam centers by following various Covid19 guidelines and SOPs that are issued by the Institute. Candidates, invigilators, and exam center staff will have to follow the guidelines from the entry to the exam center till exit, as per the official notice. Check out the list of guidelines below.

    CAT Exam 2020: Covid19 guidelines and SOPs

    1. The CAT examination would be a touch-free process whenever needed from entry to exit.
    2. Implementation of social distancing norms in the exam hall is mandatory.
    3. To avoid crowding at the venue, candidates will receive assigned time slots on the registered mail and mobile number of the previous day.
    4. All candidates appearing for the exam will have to follow the rope queues and floor marks while standing in the queue outside the gate.
    5. Thermal checking would be conducted at the entrance gate of the exam center for each candidate.
    6. Candidates will have to wear face masks, carry gloves, and hand sanitizer bottles in the exam center.
  •  IIM Indore has released an official statement in which it has stated that the Institute and its delivery partner Tata Consulting Services, TCS have taken measures to ensure implementation of advisory of the Government of India on social distancing and other preventive/ protective measures at the exam centers.
  • The local authorities across the country have also been requested to provide necessary administrative facilitation and security for the conduct of the CAT exam tomorrow, November 29, 2020.
