First Ever Women’s T20 Cricket League in Bengaluru from 4th Aug 2019

The first-ever Women’s T20 Cricket League(WCL) is being organized in Bengaluru
WCL starting from 4th Aug to 8th Aug 2019, featuring 4 different teams with 4 National players will be participating in this league, Approved by Karnataka Cricket state Association.
The tournament is organized by Ocean Vibrance, the matches will be played on the Turf Grounds of Chinnaswamy Stadium near Reva University Bengaluru.

Speaking to media, Organiser Sunanda Jaiprakash Managing Director Ocean Vibrance said “I watch the Cricket myself at home & my son is also a cricketer who struggles so much & I see in India Men’s Cricket has lots of popularity as compare Women’s Cricket as they not get such platforms to perform & show their talent which makes it very tough for the girl who put their efforts, people should come forward & support, authorities should look into this to see how best they can develop this Women’s Cricket further, so this is the intention to organize such events with Women Cricketers”
