New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the nation today and announced a special economic package for the country. In his address, PM Modi said, “today’s economic package, along with decisions of RBI and Centre, are worth Rs 20 lakh crore” while adding that it will play an important role in “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan”.
This was PM Modi’s fifth address to the nation following the coronavirus outbreak in the country. PM Modi on March 19 address had announced about the ‘Janata Curfew’. On March 24, the Prime Minister announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown and on April 14, PM Modi extended the lockdown period till May 3. On April 3, in a video message, he asked the country to light lamps for frontline corona warriors on April 5.
