Mumbai Indians (MI) lived up to the ‘favourites’ tag in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 as Rohit Sharma and his men defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) to lift their record fifth IPL title.
-
Having won four titles going into the tournament, MI also successfully defended their title for the first time. It was also the first even year where Mumbai won a title in an even year.
-
After Rohitโs men ticked all the right boxes in the tournament, the celebrations began. Mumbai were ruthless in their approach in most of the matches in IPL 2020 and all the hard work put in by the players paid off.

On Wednesday, Mumbai shared a video on their official Twitter account where Rohit was seen thanking the players, support staff and the management in a touching speech.
