  • Eoin Morgan took Kolkata Knight Riders to 174/6 in 20 overs. Morgan remained unbeaten on 34.
  • Russell smashed three sixes, but sliced it to Jaydev Unadkat at deep backward point and was dismissed for 24. It was Ankit Rajpoot who got the big man. Dinesh Karthik did not get going and edged one to Jos Buttler behind the stumps in Jofra Archer’s over.

  • KKR would expect the duo to continue their stellar run along with Gill, who was also picked after starring for India U-19 in the U-19 World Cup in 2018. The youngsters played a crucial role in KKR’s second win of the season on Wednesday and will be hopeful of contributing more as the season progresses.
