PSI recruitment scam: Kharge aide, Block Congress Prez Mahantesh Patil arrested

Kalaburagi: Afzalpur Block Congress President Mahantesh Patil Sonna has been arrested on Friday in connection with the PSI recruitment fraud case.

• With this, the total number of arrests has risen to 13.The arrested accused is said to be the close aide of Senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge.

• It is said that Patil’s supporters created chaos during his arrest and his brother RD Patil also threatened the CID officials.

• Meanwhile, the president of Gyan Jyoti School Divya Hagaragi is still absconding and a manhunt has been launched for tracing her whereabouts.
