  1. Meditate- Practice meditation. It heals your mind, body and soul to a huge extent. Meditation calms you down and reduces the risk caused due to stress and anxiety. Nowadays there are so many applications you can download which help you in meditating, like headspace and calm. You can also listen to meditation podcasts.
  2. Yoga- Yoga is known to combat stress and anxiety. Certain yoga positions like the head-to-knee forward bend, the hero pose, the tree pose and other such asanas keep stress and anxiety away. Yoga has various stress-reducing techniques. You can either practice yoga at home or join a class. It is very beneficial for your mental health.
  3. 4-7-8 breathing technique- In this exercise you need to close your mouth and inhale through your nose to the count of 4, then hold your breath to the count of 7 and finally exhale to the count of 8. This particular exercise calms your anxiety attacks and also helps you in stressful situations.
  4. Go for walks- Walking is the easiest exercise and has several benefits. If you go for early morning or night walks, it will help you liberate your stress and anxiety. The mother nature is beautiful and has a lot to offer if you are willing to take. Walking and simply adoring nature will make you feel light and relaxed.
  5. Group activities- It is healthy to talk and do stuff in groups. You get to know so many people and their struggles which will make you feel strong and inspired. Always try doing group activities, like jogging in the park, playing group games, talking in groups and so on. It will reduce your level of stress.
