KEY STORY

  • When it comes to acting, Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist has stood true to his name on various occasions. The reason the actor limits his film count to one movie (or maximum 2) per year, is because he puts his heart and soul into it like no other. And now, his recent announcement to quit social media forever has come as a surprising move.
  • Just one day after his 56th birthday, the actor shared a post stating the same. Acknowledging the birthday wishes, he shared a new user handle of his production house that will keep his fans posted about important information related to him and his projects will be made on the handle @akppl_official.
  • In his goodbye note, he mentioned not being an active user anyway and thanked his fans for their love and support. “Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before. In addition, AKP has created its official channel! So future updates on me and my films can be found there.  Here’s the official handle! @akppl_official Lots of love, always. a,” the note read.

  • His die-hard fans were left broken-hearted with the news and said that they would have wanted to have direct communication with him instead.
