CBSE warns about Fake Notice available online, issues alert

  • Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has issued a fake news alert for the notice that has been circulating with regard to the CBSE Term 2 Exams 2022 for Class 10 and 12. The board has issued a clarification and has debunked the fake notice today, April 27, 2022.
  • The fake notice mentions certain guidelines to be followed at the time of the CBSE Term 2 Exams 2022 and the regulations to be followed at the time of the exams ending.
  • “The unused question papers should be packed immediately after the start of the exams. No candidate is allowed to enter the exam centre after 11:30 AM,” the notice further added. Students must note that this is fake and in reality, students are not allowed to enter the exam hall after 10 AM.
  • CBSE took to Twitter to address the fake notice and tweeted out “#FakeNewsAlert” with a picture of the notice in question. The tweet has been shared below for reference.
The notice went on to mention rules that need to be followed at the time of the CBSE Term 2 Exams. The notice also mentioned the process for packing the answer scripts of students.
The notice also mentions that a report is to be sent to the Central Board of Secondary Education immediately after the completion of the whole process of the Term 2 Exams along with the TA/DA claim and remuneration bill. This notice has now been declared as fake.
CBSE has not issued any such notice on its official website – cbse.gov.in. The board however did conduct a live webcast to discuss the modalities of conducting the CBSE Term 2 Exams for Classes 10 and 12 on April 25, 2022. CBSE Term 2 Exams 2022 commenced on April 26, 2022 all over India for students of Classes 10 and 12.
