Chikkamagalur: Man killed as car falls into ditch

• Chikkamagalur: A man was killed after the car he was traveling in lost control and fell into a ditch in Satkoli, N R Pura Taluk.

• The deceased has been identified as Prasanna (51).

• In another incident, passengers miraculously escaped after the car they were traveling in veered off the road and toppled into a canal in Sakharayapattana in Kadur Taluk.

• It is said that the driver negligently drove through the water-logged streets. After falling into the waterlogged area, the car drifted downstream, caught in the currents.

Locals immediately rushed to their aid and rescued the passengers.
