JEE Main Clash with CBSE Class 12: NTA allows students to pick date for May exam to avoid conflict

  • To avoid JEE Main Clash with CBSE Class 12 exams, National Testing Agency, NTA has allowed all students appearing for Class 12 board exams to pick a date for the May exam to avoid conflict. The Agency has released an official notification for the same on the official site of NTA JEE on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • As per the official notice released by the Agency, the decision to pick a date was taken keeping in view the interest of the candidates and to avoid any clash between the two examinations.
  • The application form for JEE Main exam would open from May 3 and would close on May 12, 2021 (for the May session). Candidates will have to inform the NTA about their class 12 roll number and the name of the board within this time frame.
  • The candidates who will be appearing for the Class 12 Board examination, as well as JEE Main exam, will have to provide the information under ‘Whether appearing for Board examination on any of the dates May 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28, 2021’ and select the Date in their online application form so that there is no clash fo their schedule of JEE Main and Class 12 board exams.

CONCLUSION

  • Meanwhile, NTA has released JEE Main Admit Card 2021 for the February session. The admit card can be downloaded by all appearing candidates through the official site of NTA JEE.
