Karnataka minister K Sudhakar’s wife, daughter test positive for COVID-19

Bengaluru: Karnataka Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar’s wife and daughter have tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, the samples of the MLA and his two sons have returned negative for coronavirus.

“Test results of our family members have come. Unfortunately, my wife and daughter have tested positive for #Covid19 and are undergoing treatment. My two sons and myself have tested negative. I am grateful to everyone for their best wishes and prayers,” Sudhakar tweeted.

Notably, the Kerala minister’s father P N Keshava Reddy tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

He was admitted to hospital after complaining of fever and cough.

Earlier, a domestic help of Sudhakar had tested positive for the deadly contagious disease and was admitted to a hospital.

Sudhakar, an MLA from Chikkaballapura, was quarantined along with three other ministers in April for coming in contact with a journalist who had tested positive for COVID-19.
