Karnataka Health and Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar claimed that the state was facing no hiccups in the coverage of Covid-19 vaccination. “We are well on course to fully inoculate the entire adult population by November end,” he said.
The Minister explained that the state received more than 1.1 crore doses of vaccine in August and had already received about 48.96 lakh doses in September so far.
To date, 4.78 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered across the state of which 1.24 crore (nearly 26 per cent) were second doses, as per data issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
