Karnataka School Reopening: Offline Classes to Resume For Classes 1 to 8 Soon? CM Bommai to Meet Covid Task Force on August 30

Schools in Karnataka for classes 9 till 12 have resumed after a hole of almost year and a half in the midst of the continuous Covid pandemic. The Karnataka government is currently intending to continue disconnected classes for understudies of first to eighth norm in schools soon.
While no choice on this front has been shown up at up until now, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai declared a couple of days prior that he would meet specialists before the month’s over to conclude whether to return schools for classes class 1 to class 8.
Karnataka Education Minister B.C. Nagesh told correspondents that the issue would be examined with the team drove by CM Bommai on August 30 to show up at an official choice.
He said classes from ninth to second Pre-University Course (II PUC/Class 12) have effectively started from August 23. “We are getting a decent reaction from instructors, guardians, and schooling specialists. The minister said that however a 16-part master council headed by noted cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty for counteraction and the board of Covid-19 third wave-has supported the resumption of grade schools, a ultimate choice will be taken just dependent on the report of Karnataka Covid-19 Technical Advisory Committee.
Specialists and kid rights activists have been of the view that the state government should continue schools at the soonest.
