HIGHLIGHTS

After grades 10 and 12, the Karnataka government has decided to reopen grades 9 and 11 for regular, full day classes from February 1. The decision was made after a meeting of the education department with the Technical Advisory Committee on Thursday afternoon.

In the meanwhile, Vidyagama classes for grades 6-8 will continue. The minister for primary and secondary education said decision on the rest of the classes will be made after a meeting of the TAC again in February second week.

The minister also released the timetable for the SSLC exam that will be held between June 14-25, 2021. The students do not require minimum 75% attendance to appear for the exam.
