L&T To Set Up Liquid Oxygen Plant in Karanataka

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has said that the L&T Limited had come forward to set up a liquid oxygen generation plant at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) premises in Hubballi.
According to a press release issued by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, the L&T will set up a 1,000 LPM oxygen plant at KIMS in Hubballi. It would generate oxygen required for 100 beds. In addition, the L&T would also provide 15 oxygen concentrators, and two ventilators to Dharwad district.
The L&T will setup 700 LPM plant at BIMS in Belagavi, and 700 LPM plant at GIMS in Kalaburagi as well. Besides this, the company will provide two ventilators each to Belagavi and Kalaburagi districts, Joshi added.
