  • Mysuru district administration spent Rs 2 crore for celebrations in the city; it spent Rs 44 lakh for cultural programmes; Rs 35 lakh towards maintenance of five Dasara elephants; Rs 16.9 lakh for Jumboo Savari, which was restricted to Mysuru Palace.
  • A sum of Rs 40 lakh was paid as honorarium to the royal family, the minister stated adding Rs 2.6 lakh was spent towards accommodation of VIPs and artistes.
  • Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) spent Rs 3.5 crore for special illumination of 52 km of roads, he stated, adding the illumination will not be extended beyond November 1.
