Shiradi ghat: Landslide in Donigal; traffic disrupted

Highlights

• A landslide was reported at Shiradi Ghat Donigal of Sakleshpur taluk on National Highway 75 connecting Mangaluru and Bengaluru on Friday, July 15.

• The connectivity between Mangaluru and Bengaluru has been affected due to the landslides and alternative routes have been provided for vehicular movement.

• All vehicles going to Mangaluru have been diverted to Charmadi Ghat route via Belur, Moodigere road.

• Vehicles moving towards Bengaluru can use the Charmadi ghat route to reach Mudigere and reach Hassan via Belur road.

• Also, sandbags have been placed on the side of the road to prevent further collapse.
