CONCLUSION

Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy, who was among the first ones to demand a CBI probe into the case said that it was high time the agency filed a murder case.
“The CBI now wants to build a multi-dimensional case involving murder, drugs, money, hence, it’s taking time. The CBI should now file a case under murder,” Swamy said. As pointed out by Swamy, the case, which started with the death of the actor has now grown into multiple investigations that have also thrown names of Bollywood A-listers for their alleged involvement in drug procurements and alleged money laundering.
