  • Tamil TV actress VJ Chithra has been found dead at a five-star hotel in Tamil Nadu capital Chennai. The 28-year-old actress has allegedly died by suicide.  Known for playing the role of Mullai in the popular show Pandian Stores, the actress was found hanging at a five-star hotel in Nazarethpettai in Chennai on Tuesday night.
  • The actress was reportedly found hanging from a ceiling fan in the hotel room.
  • According to reports, Chithra returned to her hotel room around on Tuesday night after finishing shooting at EVP Film City.  The actress was reportedly staying at the hotel with her fiancee Hemanth.
  • Apparently, she did not come out for a long time and nor she responded to the knocks at the door. Hemant later called the hotel staff to open the door with a duplicate key. When the staff opened the room, Chithra was found hanging from the ceiling fan, a report in News18 online said.
