The opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock provided a solid start to the team in the big chase to the target of 219, adding 71 runs for the opening wicket in 7.4 overs. Shardul Thakur got the big scalp when he dismissed the MI skipper in the 8th over. Suryakumar Yadav followed him soon and walked back for 3 off 3.
