Night landing facilities at Kalaburagi Airport In 3 months

Air passengers of kalaburagi district have good news ,Night landing facility is expected to be completed by December2020
The airport was inaugurated by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa in November, considering increasing number of passengers, the Airport Autrority of India has taken a swift call to provide night landing at Kalaburagi airport.
According to the airport sources, permission has been granted just a month ago for this purpose
The work on the construction of separate building, electric works and providing infrastructure is in progress.
The Airports of airport authority of india (AAI) which are not equipped with night landing facility are Cudappah in Andhra Pradesh, Rupsi in Assam,Tezu in Arunanchal Pradesh,Diu in Daman and Kandla in Gujarat Dharamshala ,Kullu and Shimla in Himanchal Pradesh, kalaburagi in Karnataka.
The Airports which are not equipped with night Landing Facilities, the qualified Meteorological Personnel of India Meteorological Department(IMD)provided the visibility measures. .

The Ministry of Civil Aviation does not permits the aircrafts to land at night at an airport which does not have night landing facility and flight operations are permitted during VFR(Day) conditions only
The work for night landing provision at Kalaburagi Airport is expected to be completed by December 2020
