Pokhriyal to meet VCs of Central Universities tomorrow to discuss online education, exams

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will be holding a key meeting with all the Vice-Chancellors of Central Universities tomorrow, May 18, 2021. The agenda of the virtual meeting would be to discuss the online education, exams and NEP 2020 implementation across the universities.
The main focus of the meeting of Pokhriyal with the VCs of Central Universities is to review online education amid the COVID 19 pandemic and implementation of the New Education Policy. The meeting will be conducted tomorrow. The date and the official announcement is yet to be made.
As per the inputs from the news agency ANI, “Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal to meet with all Vice Chancellor’s of Central University virtually tomorrow to review the online education in COVID19 Pandemic and Planning and Implementation of NEP-2020.”

Earlier Today, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank chaired a virtual meeting with all state education secretaries. The top agenda of today’s meeting was the promotion of online education, implementation of the New Education policy and preparation strategies made by the states.
The virtual meeting was scheduled for 11 am today, and any update is expected only in the afternoon. Students are expected to get more clarity on the examinations, online classes etc., after the outcomes of these two meetings to be chaired by the Education Minister.
